Same Day Service Expert

Background of the Position:

Service experts are part of our same day service division of the company. We complete smaller projects & repairs involved with interior skilled trades. Some jobs may be small such as replacing a faucet, installing a ceiling fan or patching a drywall hole. Other jobs may be more involved or most commonly, a honey-do-list of different tasks to be completed around the home. We focus on plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, windows/doors, tile, flooring and general handyman type work.

You’ll be paid based on your performance; service experts have earned $50,000 - $100,000 per year. An average tech earns $60,000/year. There’s no overnight travel and overtime is optional.

A service expert is dispatched to individual appointments, provide a price for the work and complete any job they sell. But don’t worry, training is provided on our job pricing system. We handle all the back-office support that way you can focus on what you’re good at; helping homeowners and using your craft!

It’s mostly residential and we don’t do whole house jobs or new construction work. There’s no back breaking roof tear-offs, framing an entire house or working on large crews with overbearing foremen. Our service experts work by themselves and complete their own jobs!

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years professional experience in most interior skilled trades is required. This position is NOT apprentice or entry level, which includes “DIY” experience.

This is a full time, W-2 employee position. We DON’T subcontract.

You must have your own tools and a CLEAN & VALID NYS driver’s license is required.

A high school or equivalent (GED) education is required.

A service expert has to have good people skills, be professional and respectful. You are going into someone’s home and need to be comfortable in that setting.

Bath Installer - (Rochester-NY only)

Background of the Position:

Installers are part of our install division of the company. We complete bathroom renovation projects and window/door projects. Most bathroom remodels are one person jobs with a helper if needed. Jobs include demo existing fixtures and tub/shower, installing a new tub/shower pan & surround, installing a new floor, painting, installing a vanity and toilet, installing new trim, installing a new vent fan & vanity light fixture and more. We do a lot of tile surrounds and floors.

We only remodel existing bathrooms. No closet to bathroom conversions, no jobs involved with moving the plumbing locations.

Any job sold gets put on our job board and assigned to one of our installers. Our installers complete each job from start to finish. They use a spec sheet to complete the job.

You’ll be paid based on your performance; installers have earned $60,000 - $80,000 per year. An average installer earns $60,000. There’s no overnight travel and no weekend work.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years professional experience in bathroom remodeling as well as most interior skilled trades is required. You need to be proficient with plumbing and the tub/shower installations. We install either a fiberglass, glue up or tile surround and you need to be experienced with all types.

This position is NOT apprentice or entry level, which includes “DIY” experience.

This is a full time, W-2 employee position. However, if you’re a subcontractor and you are interested, we would be happy to speak with you as well.

You must have your own tools and a CLEAN & VALID NYS driver’s license is required.

Pink Rose Mentorship - (Rochester-NY only)

Pink Rose Home Service wants ambitious men and women of all ages interested in advancing their careers in the skilled trades. Earn $60-90K in 6-12 months

In our Pink Rose Mentorship Program, we will train you to learn “lifetime trade skills”, to be the best-of-the-best. This is a “formal”, hands-on, qualification lasting 6-12 months, (depending on current skills & how quickly you learn).

You will be working one-on-one with our service experts. They have top level experience in the industry and they want to train you! You won’t get forgotten about on a crew. You aren’t paying to go to school, we are paying you to train!

You will learn residential skills in:
Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Carpentry (Framing and Trim),
Windows/Doors, Flooring, Tile (flooring and backsplashes), Roofing (repairs)
Siding (repairs), Soffit/Fascia/Gutters, “Handyman” Projects.

We focus on residential home improvement. Small, one-person jobs involved in the skilled trades.

Pay is $15/hr to start. Can you survive on $600 a week when other dead-end jobs are paying more in the short term? Upon graduation you’ll become one of our Service Expert Technicians earning a healthy $60,000 -$90,000 a year!

Outside Residential Sales Representative - (Rochester-NY only)

Background of the Position:

Project coordinators are part of our install division of the company. We focus on residential bathroom remodels and window/door projects.

A project coordinator goes on the appointment, specs out the job and provides a quote on the spot. Our quoting process excludes “dog and pony” presenting, price drops, rehashing prices, etc. Our pricing is very straight forward and we always give the best price upfront. The goal is to sell the job. Any sold jobs get put on our job board and assigned to one of our installers to be completed.

There’s a pre-construction meeting on the first day of any job being completed. This is between the project coordinator, homeowner and installer to go over any possible changes and questions. Project coordinators are responsible for executing change orders for any sold jobs. Meaning, if there are changes to a job, you will adjust the contract and pricing.

Earnings are fully commission based with paid vehicle mileage. The potential range of earnings is $70,000 - $100,000.

Requirements:

You should have some background within home improvement and bathroom remodeling. You should have general knowledge of construction and remodeling on items such as replacement windows, bath tubs, shower pans, standard surround sizes & types, vanity styles & sizes, different types of flooring, etc.

Prior sales experience is not required but is a plus.

You must have great listening skills.

You must be able to follow direction, pay attention to detail, be comfortable using a laptop and Microsoft programs as well as be comfortable with customer interaction.

A project coordinator must not be discouraged easily because they didn’t sell every appointment they went on. That’s impossible. Think of baseball players; it’s impossible to hit every ball pitched. In fact, a batting average of .300 is considered amazing. It’s the same thing with sales; every appointment is another opportunity to make a sale.

This is a full time, W-2 employee position. We DON’T Subcontract.

Call Center Representative - (Rochester-NY only)

Background of the Position:

The home improvement industry has a terrible reputation for very bad customer service.  From stiffing customers, not showing up and not answering the phones. We’re looking to change the standard! Laborer/Apprentice - (Rochester-NY only)

Background of the Position:

Laborers are floaters that help all divisions of the company.

You will primarily work with our install team focused on bathroom remodeling. These jobs are more involving and utilize a full skill of trades.

The goal is to build your skill set and learn how to do the work and eventually become one of our installers or service experts. You will learn skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, windows/doors, tile, flooring, and general handyman type work.

You will also help with miscellaneous tasks as needed. There is some “gopher” work involved including helping transport company vehicles and organizing the office.

This position starts at $15/hour. The further you gather your skills; the more negotiable pay can become.

Experience & Education Required:

This position is an entry level position with no experience required; Any prior experience with remodeling is a plus.

This is meant for someone that is looking to learn remodeling or someone with minor experience looking to expand their skill set. Furthermore, this is a full time, W-2 position.

A CLEAN & VALID NYS driver’s license is required.

Showing up on time and paying attention is crucial.
